Mountain Haven is the perfect honeymoon cabin! This adorable log cabin is located close to Unicoi State Park and tucked away in the woods for complete privacy and relaxation.
Throw some steaks or hamburgers on the propane grill and then take a well-deserved nap. For your evening entertainment, if the weather is cool, snuggle up in front of the wood-burning fireplace and sip on some of Northeast Georgia's local wine.
We're sure you won't, but if you get tired of being in the tranquility of the woods, Alpine Helen is just a 15-minute drive away for a fun day of shopping, playing mini-golf, or trying one of many delicious restaurants. If you want some more adventurous water fun, visit the Helen Water Park or go tubing on the famous Chattahoochee which winds its way through Alpine Helen.
For outdoor enthusiasts, you will be in an area full of hiking trails and waterfalls. Visit spectacular Anna Ruby Falls and Unicoi State Park for a great day out, or try horseback riding at the nearby Sunburst Stables. There is never a shortage of fun things to do in and around Helen. Whatever time of year, you will find something going on; Fall boasts Helen's exciting Oktoberfest season and the Christmas season is a Christmas to remember in Helen's Alpine winter wonderland.

The cabin was wonderful. So peaceful and the hot tub was really nice to have especially during the rain. The property was really easy to find and was perfect for just the 2 of us. The bed was comfortable and the TV swivels so we could watch tv on the couch or in the bed.
The only criticisms I have are the over head light bulbs were really bright and the lamp bulbs were really dim. I would suggest putting lower watt bulbs in the those light fixtures and higher watts in the lamps. Also, we had what we needed to cook with the exception of a cooking sheet. Sounds small but it made cooking more difficult.

Upon entering my wife was taken back by how cozy our little cabin was. We were on our fifth anniversary trip and utilized the cabin and hot tub more than anything else in town. Helen and Unicoi State park were both wonderful but the Mountain Haven Cabin was the highlight of our trip. We are already planning for a return trip next year. Same cabin, same weekend.

We loved staying at Mountain Haven. Property was easy to find and it was everything I expected. This cabin is perfect for couples that are on their honeymoon and for couples that just want to have quick getaway. I loved how we are away from Downtown Helen, but yet still a very short drive to town.

SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS
• The Damage Protection Fee depends on the size of the property.
• A $25, $55, or $75 non-refundable damage waiver is added to every reservation. This waiver will cover up to $700 for accidental or inadvertent damages. This is only applicable if the damages are reported at the time of the incident.
If the guest chooses to opt out of paying the mandatory DPF, a substantial deposit will be required and placed on the guest's credit card in lieu of DPF. This money will be held until a post departure inspection is completed. If there are no charges against this deposit, it will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Please note that once you have chosen the deposit option, to change back to the Damage Protection Fee, you will incur a charge of $100.
