House Rules:
Laurel Haven is the perfect honeymoon cabin! This adorable log cabin is located close to Unicoi State Park and tucked away in the woods for complete privacy and relaxation. This cabin has a screened-in porch with a hot tub for as much soaking and relaxing as you can handle.
- This property is not pet-friendly. No exceptions.
- Firewood not supplied.
- Digital rental agreement will be required to sign and complete after property is booked.

After relaxing in the hot tub for part of the day, you might just get hungry. Throw some steaks or hamburgers on the propane grill and then take a well-deserved nap. For your evening entertainment, if the weather is cool, snuggle up in front of the wood-burning fireplace and sip on some of Northeast Georgia's local wine.
We're sure you won't, but if you get tired of being in the tranquility of the woods, Alpine Helen is just a 15-minute drive away for a fun day of shopping, playing mini-golf, or trying one of many delicious restaurants. If you want some more adventurous water fun, visit the Helen Water Park or go tubing on the famous Chattahoochee which winds its way through Alpine Helen.
For outdoor enthusiasts, you will be in an area full of hiking trails and waterfalls. Visit spectacular Anna Ruby Falls and Unicoi State Park for a great day out, or try horseback riding at the nearby Sunburst Stables. There is never a shortage of fun things to do in and around Helen. Whatever time of year, you will find something going on; Fall boasts Helen's exciting Oktoberfest season and the Christmas season is a Christmas to remember in Helen's Alpine winter wonderland.

We really appreciated receiving a call/voicemail a few days before our arrival date to inform us of severe weather expected during our stay dates. And then you recommended items we should bring to make our stay more comfortable in the cold conditions and also an option to stay in downtown Helen if we preferred.

We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay! The cabin we stayed in is close to Helen (less than a 10 min drive) making it easy to go into town whenever we liked, yet far enough away to feel like a we had the isolated getaway we desired.
We would have loved to stay even longer!! So well definitely plan another stay!

This property was great. We stayed 3 nights in a perfect cabin. The cabin was like a studio apartment, perfect for a couple. We enjoyed being able to get away from the city which was only a few minutes from Helen. The screened-in porch was perfect for your morning coffee and a great place to relax and read in the evening. Definitely coming back. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities that are needed. No WiFi but thats okay.

SECURITY DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS
• The Damage Protection Fee depends on the size of the property.
• A $25, $55, or $75 non-refundable damage waiver is added to every reservation. This waiver will cover up to $700 for accidental or inadvertent damages. This is only applicable if the damages are reported at the time of the incident.
If the guest chooses to opt out of paying the mandatory DPF, a substantial deposit will be required and placed on the guest's credit card in lieu of DPF. This money will be held until a post departure inspection is completed. If there are no charges against this deposit, it will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Please note that once you have chosen the deposit option, to change back to the Damage Protection Fee, you will incur a charge of $100.
