Other things to note

The following are guidelines for booking an event at the home. We review events on a case by case basis. We are happy to discuss your special day with you!

**Events will be reserved only as an add-on to a minimum 3 night stay at The Nest at Cardinal Hill
**Event fee: $700 payable at time of booking; 100% refundable 9 months prior to the event, 50% refundable 6 months before the event and nonrefundable thereafter; booking date is determined by date all signatures are obtained along with payment of event fee and security deposit
**Security deposit: $750 due at time of booking
**Maximum event head count is 40; maximum overnight occupancy in the residence is 14
**There are no DJ’s or live music allowed; recorded music is allowed provided that the volume does not disturb neighboring properties
**$1 million event liability policy is required with hosts included as a named insured (we can connect you with an agent if needed)
**Cars will need to park in designated parking areas only
**All trash needs to be contained in bags and placed in the designated trash area, not inside the home
**All outside vendor information needs to be provided to Cardinal Hill Dahlonega 30 days prior to event; please include company name, contact person and phone number
**Furniture shall not be moved by guests to accommodate the event; Cardinal Hill staff will be happy to remove breezeway furnishings for a $75 fee
**Photography is allowed on property; please consider sharing some of your favorite photos with us to post on our social media accounts
**Resources for area vendors are available from Cardinal Hill after bookin

  Check-In / Check-Out

• Contactless Self Check-In at 4 PM.
• Check-Out is at 11 AM.
• Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are currently not available due to Covid-19-related cleaning requirements. 

Payment

• 50% payment is due at checkout for bookings further than 15 days out. 
• 2nd 50% payment due 15 days before arrival.
• If your arrival date is already within the 15-day window of arrival full payment will be required at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

• 15 Days or Less - NO Refunds - Rescheduling Not Available
