It's perfectly situated downtown Helen overlooking the Chattahoochee River, you are close to everything at this property. Easy walk into town to explore the river, watch tubers go by, or walk into town to a restaurant!
Sit out on the deck and enjoy the peacefulness as you watch the river flowing by. Grill out on the provided grill while you enjoy a glass of wine from one of our local wineries. There is so much to see and do in Helen. For the kids (and adults), there is the Alpine Coaster and several locations to play mini golf. Enjoy strolling the streets of Helen – whatever the season – and do some shopping or grab a Schnitzel.
Helen is a great location for family fun any time of year. Come & visit during Oktoberfest where you can try German foods & beer, listen to authentic German music, and have the time of your life. If you prefer to enjoy nature and the more serene side of the area, there are some amazing hiking trails around Helen and outstanding waterfalls: Anna Ruby Falls near Unicoi State Park, Duke Creek Falls, or Raven Cliff Falls. There is something for everyone in Helen; make it your next vacation!

Great location and great unit!
This place is perfect for couples!! Loved the full kitchen, loved the patio, the bed was comfy – just the whole set up! Quiet but walking distance to every thing. Check in was easy. 1 night we managed locked ourselves out, I called and they were so helpful and got us in!! I highly recommend this place if you are traveling to Helen.
Wonderful place for couples, I went with my husband and was able to walk all of Helen. You are a solid 10 min away from everything! It was great. We had tea time on the porch with the river flowing by, very peaceful. Would love to come back next year :)!

This place was amazing!! Love the deck in the back overlooking the river! Easy check in, super clean and really close walking distance to all the restaurants and shops!! Definitely booking this place again!
This is our second time staying here and we love it. This unit is perfectly located, walkable to everything and so beautiful, right on the river. The host was very helpful when we locked ourselves out too :). We will definitely be back again! Highly recommended!

Property Manager: Everything was easy. From booking the room and receiving rental information. Check in was easy. I had the number to call if there was a problem. Property: We loved our stay at Alpine River Suites #401. It was right on the river and you could watch the tubers go by. It was in walking distance to restaurants and shops.
