The cabin's location is within walking distance from Georgia's first Alpine Coaster where you can glide through the lush mountain forest as fast or as slow as you want to go. Let the kids mine for gold or take them mini golfing with a sweet treat after. In the summertime, tub down the river or enjoy the Helen Waterpark. For the older crowd, enjoy the nightlife of Downtown Helen. After your busy day of adventuring, come back and enjoy the tranquility of Above the Rest!

We truly enjoyed the cabin for our 3 night stay. Cabin was nice and clean and close to everything in Helen. We had a little trouble with the steepness of the driveway. Luckily we had a AWD car. Walking up and down was a little hard for us at our age, but the cabin location and view made it worth it.

I can’t say enough about the cleanliness of the place Above the rest. The person I had to call and find out a couple of things was outstanding. The food around the little town was amazing we only ate German food all weekend and liked it just because the restaurant is off the beaten path don’t mean it’s not good. Get out and explore it was amazing and we will be back.
