Big Timber Lodge is an experience you do NOT want to miss! Big Timber is ideally located just south of Helen, GA in beautiful mountain surroundings on an idyllic private lake. Whether you want to relax in privacy on the front or back covered porches or have fun swimming, canoeing, or fishing on the private lake, Big Timber has so much to offer.
For fall and wintertime guests on those cold evenings, cozy up around the outdoor firepit and roast some marshmallows or sip on some hot chocolate as you gaze into the firelight. Enjoy preparing food in the well-equipped kitchen for friends and family while you chill your newly bought bottle of wine from one of the many local wineries. Or for that afternoon nap or a good night’s sleep, you can find seclusion in the private master suite and wash the day away in the jetted garden tub. There is more than enough room for your friends and family in this grand lodge! This spacious 2-story home has an overhanging loft and ample room for up to twenty people to sleep comfortably. Once you find yourself wandering downstairs, you'll find the fully finished terrace level with a full-size pool table and additional family room with a bar to kick back and cheer on your favorite team on the 2 large HD TVs.
After you've explored inside Big Timber Lodge, step outside and look at all the possibilities for fun and relaxation. Relax in the large 7-person hot tub under the stars. Great Location . We had our daughters wedding at Cenita Vineyard and it was just a few minutes away. Great for Helen and Dahlonega as well. Nice and private too!
Our stay at Big Timber was a great time- a perfect destination for a mountain cabin weekend. Hosts were very accommodating and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils
Our stay at Big Timber was fenomenal! The pictures capture everything that makes this place special. We got to see some deers and bunnies which was unexpected and a lovely surprise. The kitchen is very well equiped and the bedrooms are very cozy. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we will treasure beautiful memories from your house. Would totally stay again if we ever get to visit Helen.
Cute cabin with lots of amenities!
Absolutely beautiful, my family and I had a wonderful time. The Host was very responsive and got back to me quickly when I had a couple of questions. Location was beautiful just 20 minutes from Helen 15 minutes from Cleveland, it was perfect. It was secluded enough to feel like you were in a mountain without really having to be at the top of the mountain and outside of civilization. Definitely would stay here again next time we are in the area. Highly recommend.
Great cabin for multiple families to stay in. Clean, easy to access and spacious. The rental company makes communication easy. WiFi works well.
Home was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Full of fun entertainment.
