Visit this truly classic lake house located on Lake Burton. Modern renovations give this 70s-built home a nostalgic summertime vibe. This property is nestled in Murray Cove with calm waters and peaceful sounds of the lake. Large, vaulted wood ceilings and bright windows fill the home with ambient light, and the open layout provides a perfect gathering space for families. Large decks including a screened-in portion and covered outdoor patio with comfortable seating make it easy to enjoy the surrounding scenery.

The four large bedrooms provide 3 king beds and a bunk room that can easily accommodate groups and families. The boat and other items i.e. tube & rope in boat area are not for guest use. Boat area is locked by owners, but rentals are available at LaPrade's Marina less than 10 minutes away. Also, on the eastern side of Lake Burton Anchorage Marina offers ski boat, pontoon, jet ski and all watersport rentals.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Burton Bass Lodge! The home was beautifully renovated, incredibly clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun family retreat. The location in Murray Cove is perfect, peaceful, scenic, and just steps from the lake. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

The house was very much as described. It was clean and spacious and plenty of room for a family of six with one baby. We had our two adult children and their spouses with us. We played card games at night in the enclosed porch. We also spent time on the dock at night with dessert and enjoyed star gazing. We also enjoyed two days on the boat. The lake is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Property Manager: I had a wonderful experience with staff. We had a credit to use towards a rental and the process could not have been easier. Staff was very kind and helpful. I called on a Sunday not even sure if anyone would answer and they picked up on the first ring. Property: Burton Bass Lodge was breathtaking! As soon as we pulled up we knew we were going to have a great vacation. The house was extremely spacious and comfortable. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. Bathrooms in every room, comfortable beds, games to play. I wish the weather had been a bit warmer for us to enjoy the lake more, but I guess we will just have to go back!
