Hester's Hideaway is located 2+ hours away from Atlanta. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. We are located within 15 minutes of the most beautiful wineries (The Cottage, Frogtown, Wolf Mountain, Kaya and many more). Just a minute's drive to amazing waterfalls, swimming and hiking (Desoto, Dicks Creek, Helton Creek, Blood Mountain). And OH, what views you will find, take a drive through the beautiful North Georgia Mountains and see where it will take you. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. We are only 14 to 16 miles to downtown Cleveland, Helen, Dahlonega, and Blairsville.
If you are in need of some shopping therapy, there is the North Georgia Premium Outlet which is located in Dawsonville about 30 miles. ***How about Antiquing? There is a firepit to go out to and warm up to and roast marshmallows. If that's not enough and you want to star gaze, throw the hammock up and just meditate.

PET POLICY
We have some properties that are designated "Pet Friendly''. This option is stated on the cabin profile. In the event, Guest's party includes a dog, Guest shall register all dogs on the booking page at the time the Reservation is made to ensure that the rental property Guest is requesting is pet-friendly property.
In addition, in the event evidence of a dog is found at a rental property that is not pet-friendly, or the dog is not registered in the Reservation, Guest shall be assessed a minimum charge of 0. All dogs must be on a flea prevention program and are not allowed on furniture, on the blankets and/or any linens, in hot tubs or left unattended at the rental property. Guests agree that they will not use any linens or towels for their pets. If fleas are found inside the rental property upon Guest's departure, Guest shall be responsible for any and all fees incurred for extermination services.
If the rental property requires additional cleaning due to the dog, Guest shall be charged accordingly. Pets must be completely house broken and well behaved. Pets shall NOT be left uncrated while alone in cabin. If evidence of dog urine or feces is found in the rental property, a minimum charge of 0, together with the costs and expenses of additional cleaning services necessary to remove hair, odors and/or stains shall be charged to credit card on file.
Guest agrees to pick up waste from the grounds and deposit in outside garbage cans. Guests are responsible for the actions of their pets and all damages that may arise from having a pet on the property. Cabin Rentals of Helen, managers, nor homeowners assume any responsibility or liability for Guest(s) pets.
Cabin Rentals of Helen does not allow any other type of animal, including cats.

Property Manager: Communication with the host was excellent. Property: Great cabin in the woods. This place is set back in the woods and is a great escape from busy daily life. I was able to relax and unwind with family and friends for a 5 night stay during new years. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone looks for a quiet relaxing vacation.
Property Manager: Everyone was very nice and extremely helpful. Our heat went out on a Friday night. We called the office Saturday morning, and they got right back to us. Within a couple of hours, they had someone out to fix the problem. Property: The cabin was beautiful. The pictures did not do it justice. We went the week before Christmas, and when we walked in, it was so nicely decorated, and the cabin felt so warm and welcoming. We would absolutely stay there again.
I am thoroughly impressed with the sufficient amount of clear and concise communication via text and emails leading up to the day of rental and departure date keeping me informed of what to expect along with reminders. With this rental company, you are not treated as a number.
Property Manager: Communication through text and email was superb. I got reminders and messages in the weeks up to our visit as well as throughout our stay. Property: The property was beautiful. Outside deck was amazing and the deck swing was great for the kids. The fire pit in the backyard was great and well worth it. The inside of the cabin was wonderfully put together, and we loved all the little bears everywhere. It was spacious enough for our group to do everything we wanted.
Property Manager: Excellent service primarily via email. No issues. Claire instructions provided. Property: The property was terrific. The cabin was as described on the website and the highlight of our visit was seeing a mama bear with 2 cups on several occasions during our stay in the evenings. We enjoyed sitting On the deck in the evenings before dark in the cool air. The cabin is situated close to all amenities and some wonderful walking trails.
Property Manager: The staff was easy to work with and setting up the reservation was efficiently done. Property: Hester's Hideaway cabin was very homey, clean and extremely comfortable. There were 5 adults staying for the weekend and everyone had lots of space! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed to make the trip pleasant.
Property Manager: Easy check in and out. The team reached out prior to our stay with clear instructions on check in that went as planned. They followed up after check in to make sure things went well and how to reach them if needed. Property: The cabin was clean and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. I felt like I was in my cabin in the woods.
Property Manager: Wonderful Property: Beautiful place, had a dear walk through out back. Centrally located, went to Helen, Dahlonega and went to ride the scenic train in Blue Ridge, will definitely be back.
