The property is close to the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Preserve and there is something for everyone in the area: fishing, hiking, river tubing, or horseback riding at Sunburst Stables or just relaxing in the hot tub on the deck as you watch the river flow by. This perfect spot for rest and relaxation is located close to nature and the headwaters of the Upper Chattahoochee River and only 1 mile from the vibrant center of Helen, GA. This cozy cabin is located just minutes from the shopping and dining of the delightful alpine village of Helen, GA and a short drive to the spectacular Anna Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, Smithgall Woods Center, and Unicoi State Park. It is the perfect vacation cabin for a couple or small family.
River's Edge is lovingly cared for and features a cozy stone, wood-burning fireplace, wood paneling throughout, and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need.

My family has stayed at this cabin two years in a row and it’s our favorite place to be. My kids get to splash in the river, make s’mores, and play games inside when it’s raining. There’s enough room for my husband and I and our four young kids, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen – no dishwasher, but that’s not a big deal. The drive in is our favorite! It’s so secluded and we love driving along the river. It’s located so close to town that my kids and I have walked to the park in fifteen minutes.
Lovely cabin over the river. If you go tubing you can hop off and grab a snack from the cabin as you float by! There was conflicting lists on whether or not the kitchen had a pod coffee maker. One of the hosts ran one over to us within an hour or asking of one was available. Very responsive to messages! Would stay again.
Absolutely gorgeous and fantastic! Very clean and fun watching the tubers come down the Chattahoochee River and cheering them on!!! Highly recommend this property and we will be going back! Thanks!

This cabin was amazing! My husband and boys had a blast catching trout right on the river behind the cabin. They also enjoyed the hot tub a few times. The walk to town was nice and convenient. Helen is small but filled with great finds and experiences. There are also many waterfalls within a half hour of the cabin that were breath taking! Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to be on the river and close to town.

We had a great time at River’s Edge. The cabin was cozy, clean, and exactly what we were hoping for. The fire pit was a highlight—perfect for relaxing evenings by the river.The location couldn’t be better: right on the river and just minutes from downtown Helen, so it felt peaceful without being remote.The host was attentive, responsive, and available whenever we needed anything, which made the stay completely stress-free.Would absolutely stay here again. Five stars all the way.
