This fully-renovated vintage log cabin is a one-of-a-kind rustic experience for your group's next trip to the North Georgia Mountains, and is nestled on a secluded, idyllic multi-acre property with a unique winding creek only 15 minutes from downtown Helen. The exterior is ideal for nature lovers and features a landscaped fire pit area with Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, a creekside hammock, and connecting bridges so you can easily explore the different parts of the creek. The interior boasts all original log framing and flooring with amazing vaulted ceilings, 3 cozy bedrooms with Smart TVs, and a fully-equipped renovated kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances.
***Accessing this property requires crossing a small creek at the beginning of the entrance. Most vehicles including FWD/AWD trucks, SUVs, and standard FWD sedans will be suitable. RWD sports/luxury vehicles with low suspensions are not recommended! In the event of heavy periods of rain for externded amounts of time, the creek will rise and water will be at a higher level, if you are traveling in a Sedan, please be sure to call the office for current weather conditions, or be sure to check the local forecast before attempting to cross the creek.***

I had to call for assistance because a tree was down across our drive. The person I talked to was very friendly and made sure we could still park safely and access our cabin. The person came the next morning to clear the drive and was very friendly and apologized for the inconvenience.

The cabin was very clean and felt like home. We really enjoyed the privacy and seclusion of our location. If I had to say any downsides, there was a creek crossing which could be a problem in a small SUV during a rainstorm. Oh, and I would consider this a rustic cabin so if noise from others inside bothers you, this is not the place for you unless you're alone.

This property was absolutely beautiful. We never wanted leave. It was just so relaxing sitting on the porch listening to the water running over the rocks in the creek right beneath your feet. The fire pit had a fire crackling the entire time of our stay. Couldnt have been any better.

Crooked Creek Cabin was amazing! It was everything as described and then some. It was very relaxing to sit on the porch and enjoy the stream a few feet away. We enjoyed a fire at night in one of the firepits and the gas fireplace once we went inside. The cabin had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. We are already talking about going back to stay again in the fall when the leaves are changing.

Our stay at Crooked Creek Cabin was lovely. The area is just beautiful. From waking up to the sound of the creek in your backyard to the rustic feel of the cabin. Crossing the small creek to get to our cabin was a bit intimidating, but as long as you have a crossover/SUV/Truck you are golden. The interior is beautiful, and you can tell it has some history behind it.

- 50% payment is due at checkout for bookings further than 15 days out.
