Close to Laprades Marina rent boats, enjoy restaurants, visit Moccasin Creek Fish Hatchery, not far from the Appalachian Trail. Relax on the porch with your morning coffee or come back from a day of hiking and layback in the hot tub and watch the stars come out!
Anchorage Marina on Lake Burton has slip rentals for your boat or watersport rentals to enjoy the lake. It is located at Anchorage Boat Dock 75 Timpson Cove Rd. Clayton, GA 30525. Call (706) 782-3013 for inquiries.
This newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin has been lovingly restored with all new appliances. Stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher & large kitchen sink. Bar with 2 stools in kitchen for casual dining or outside dining on deck with table and 6 chairs.
Living room has fireplace with remote controlled gas logs for winter use and TV for cozy evenings in the cabin.
Cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All bedrooms have TVs and ceiling fans. Owner has provided a stackable washer & dryer for guests.
Lake Burton drawdown schedule:
September 3, 2024 - Lake starts down gradually from Normal (1865.0 elevation)
September 16, 2024 - Lake is one foot down (1864.0 elevation)
November 1, 2024 - Lake starts down gradually to (1862.5 elevation)
March 1, 2025 - Lake starts up gradually from 2.5 feet down (1862.5 elevation)
May 1, 2025 - Lake is back to Normal summer pool (1865.0 elevation)

Everyone at Cabin Rentals of Helen was a pleasure to work with- even making sure we knew about a promo code for a discount off of our stay (which I wouldn't have seen on my own). Very friendly and knowledgeable, and checked on us before and during our stay. They even knew that we might have been having internet issues- and we were- and reached out to us proactively and told us how to fix it very easily.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Beds were comfortable, water pressure was good (and plenty of hot water), and a nice deck with a hot tub that we enjoyed. Would definitely rent again, and again rent directly from CROH vs. AirBnb, as it was a good bit cheaper.

The Overlook at Lake Burton was exactly that, it had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains across the lake. The moon was so bright at night while we enjoyed a fire in the beautiful fire pit. The overlook was very peaceful and we enjoyed our stay, will definitely want to come back to relax.
