A fisherman's paradise - trout fishing right in front of your own cabin - catch your limit on the beautiful clear waters of the fast-flowing Chattahoochee River.
The property is close to the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Preserve and there is something for everyone in the area: fishing, hiking, river tubing, or horseback riding at Sunburst Stables or just relaxing in the hot tub on the deck as you watch the river flow by. Could it get any better than this?
This perfect spot for rest and relaxation is located close to nature and the headwaters of the Upper Chattahoochee River and only 1 mile from the vibrant center of Helen, GA. This cozy cabin is located just minutes from the shopping and dining of the delightful alpine village of Helen, GA and a short drive to the spectacular Anna Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, Smithgall Woods Center, and Unicoi State Park. It is the perfect vacation cabin for a couple or small family.
River's Edge is lovingly cared for and features a cozy stone, wood-burning fireplace, wood paneling throughout, and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need.

Most relaxing trip we have ever taken! Wanted a short getaway from our home near Atlanta and the every day hustle and bustle. We also were wanting to avoid the huge crowds of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. In doing a search we stumbled across Cabin Rentals of Helen and let me just say how delightful the entire experience was. From the booking and checking out process, to the easy instructions on everything from key codes to driving directions and making sure all of our accommodations were met. The cabin was just perfect. We have never stayed in a cabin that didnt need ANYTHING. Usually we spend our first evening figuring out how many light bulbs are blown and how many batteries to buy so the remote controls work. Not only did the management see that everything worked, the owners provide bulbs and batteries! I know that's a small thing but it just shows the care that the owners and management provide for the tenants. This is an outstanding company and cabin. Rivers Edge was quiet, had an amazing view and nestled practically right over the river. The location was convenient to town and you didnt need a 4x4 truck to get there!!! Which was also another plus in my opinion. I highly recommend!! You will not be disappointed!! We will definitely be a repeat customer on our next visit to Helen. I also would like to send a heartfelt thank you and appreciation to Jennifer for extending our trip by a day when bad weather moved in preventing us from making a potentially dangerous drive back. She was so caring and understanding. Even going the extra mile to contact me to assure we made a safe trip back home.

- The Damage Protection Fee depends on the size of the property. A $25.00. $55.00 or $75.00 non-refundable damage waiver is added to every reservation. This waiver will cover up to $700 for accidental or inadvertent damages. This is only applicable if the damages are reported at the time of the incident.
- If guest chooses to opt out of paying the mandatory DPF a substantial deposit will be required and placed on the guest's credit card in lieu of DPF. This money will be held until a post departure inspection is completed. If there are no charges against this deposit, deposit will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Please note that once you have chosen the deposit option, to change back to the Damage Protection Fee, you will incur a charge of $100.
