Jennifer was my point of contact with Cabin Rentals of Helen and she was a pleasure! She was able to get my birthday weekend booked last minute and saved us a little money by booking direct. She is a true gem!

My husband and our daughters, age 5 and 6, all thoroughly enjoyed our last minute stay for my birthday weekend! Our small kids enjoyed the pull out couch in the living room with the gorgeous wall of windows overlooking the serene Chattahoochee. The kitchen and bath worked perfectly for us, we especially loved the garden tub! The double sided fireplace was beautiful but didn't give mom & dad complete privacy like we would have preferred. The heated entrance foyer was a nice bonus during our cold winter stay and the back deck is covered and large. We enjoyed that space while the kids played. The location was outstanding, super close to the shops but still serene and private! The park was only one building away and our girls loved exploring the area and playing at the park. The bed is high and that can be a good or bad thing depending upon who you ask but was fairly comfortable.

Easy to book. Great communication, they even sent periodic texts to check in on us during our stay.

Great little cabin, well equipped and cozy. Perfect for our mini-moon getaway. Cabin is just like the photos. The hot tub was ahhhh-mazing!

Overall property was great. Parking space was spacious enough to fit two vehicles, possibly three even comfortably. The cabin itself was spacious and had a good layout to create privacy for each of the guests present. Only issue was that some of the furniture had visible wear and tear (such as the pots and pans, bar stools, and the bed in the upstairs loft). The property was right at the start of Helen which was super convenient.

Property manager and owner went over the top to meet our expectations. The house was so clean and organized, they thought about every little detail to make our stay the best experience. The property is beautiful and so spacious. Perfect for large families and friends who are looking for a getaway trip. The house location is great, inside a gated community that offers security and many amenities to enjoy. I recommend this property 100% and I look forward to going back again.

I communicated with the company by text, although not super quick about replying they did take care of a couple of issues we had.

Cabin is in an awesome location very close to town and activities. Whether it is walkable is debatable because the driveway is so steep it is a hard climb to get up to the cabin. Plenty of downtown parking so we took our car which was fine. We had no problems getting our vehicle up and down the drive, we drive a Honda pilot. A few problems with cabin, no blow dryers, no table lamps only ceiling lights. Some rooms had TV trays for end tables, no hangers in closets, no spatula in kitchen, no broom and dust pan which is ridiculous. When staying for a week things get dirty, also we dropped and broke a glass drinking glass so that was actually dangerous. Downstairs bedroom TV too large for dresser so they said it on the floor, so basically couldnt watch that without hanging over the edge of the bed! which we are not used to. No hand soap no coffee, Kleenex, air freshener, or any of the extra touches we usually get when we rent. We found early on that the front door would lock it self when we would go outside so you always had to keep the key in your pocket! Or you would risk being locked out at anytime of the day, and they were not quick to respond after hours. Really need a chair or two in the living room. Cabin is beautiful, location great, very clean but it just lacks the helpful extras which should be there considering how upscale it appears, and the price paid.

We had to contact the office because there was an issue with our house when we arrived and they were very helpful.

The property needs a little updating but was fine overall.

This property was beautiful. It was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in . It was close to Helen, Brass town bald, Tallulah Gorge and Dillard house. It was far enough away to feel secluded. There was plenty of room. Our electricity went out due to snow and ice. The owner called us to make sure we had plenty of fire wood to stay warm until it came back on. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend this home .

Our stay was amazing . The cabin was as described in the listing . Everything you needed to know was posted inside the cabin . The attention to detail was very clear . The cabin was clean and fully stocked all we needed was our personal supplies and groceries. They thought of everything. It has throws to sit under while watching one of several televisions. It has a really nice huge refrigerator, washer, dryer, and dishwasher. It even has a grill. The place is really decorated so nice.It has a really nice hot tub out on the deck. It is absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views. I would highly recommend this place and plan on coming back to stay again

There was more than enough space for our two families of 4, with four young children! This property was perfect, that's all I can say - new appliances, smart TVs, spacious, and very clean. When we had a small issue with the internet, someone was quick to respond and assist, even though it had nothing to do with the property itself - we want to make this property an annual trip!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay!! We were looking for a cozy getaway and that is exactly what we got. The place was super nice and clean and had such a great view! The location was great being just a 5 minute drive away from downtown Helen.

The hosts were top-notch and very accommodating. The reservation process was easy and straightforward, and communication was easy with the texts that periodically checked in with us throughout our stay.

Big Timber Lodge exceeded our expectations and was basically a mini resort on its own. There was always something to keep the family entertained whether it's relaxing by the fireplace in the great room, playing pool or darts in the spacious game room, enjoying a glass of wine in the hot tub or fire pit, or canoeing in the pond. Definitely making this our family's go-to cabin in the mountains!

We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. It had everything we could have possibly needed and the location was perfect.
