Attentive and knowledgeable

Weve been coming to Helen, Georgia for five years now, and this cabin is hands down one of our favorite stays yet. Tucked just far enough into the state park to feel peaceful and secluded, yet still only minutes from town, the location couldnt be better. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated with charming mountain-themed touches that really make it feel cozy and welcoming. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into making it feel like a home away from home. We had a blast tubing with Cool River Tubing (definitely recommend going early to beat the crowds!). Afterward, we spent our evenings enjoying the private theater room, it was such a fun bonus, and gathering around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and sipping hot chocolate. A huge thank you to the owners for leaving those thoughtful touches for us to enjoy. It was such a kind and appreciated gesture. If youre looking for a relaxing mountain escape thats close to everything but still tucked away in nature, this is the place. Were already looking forward to coming back!

The property was very clean. The only thing was very low water pressure in the shower. The cabin had practically everything you need to use in the kitchen.

The property was safe and clean and in walking distance of downtown, which is why I chose it. I didnt want to have to pay for parking. It was so nice to park at the property and walk. We even walked to the grocery store and carried everything back in our backpacks.

Gem of the Mountain! A gorgeous property snuggled in a peaceful, serene setting yet close to lots of things to do! The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home and the theatre room was a hit! It was spacious and very clean. We are looking forward to a return stay late Fall.

Overall, it was great. Great communication leading up to our stay, easy to understand instructions, easy access to the building/ room. The room was clean and it was as expected from images on listing. Spacious rooming, great location in townhad easy access to everything. Beautiful window/porch views overlooking the river. Area is pretty quiet. Would definitely return.

We were so pleased with our rental. It was very clean and so roomy. After entering the unit, we didnt realize that we had three floors of a beautiful rental. It was so convenient to walk to everything!!! We really enjoyed the balconies - especially the 2nd floor balcony with wonderful patio furniture, large table & chairs and the starlightts underneath the canopy.

For the most part, our stay was enjoyable. The only issue was the sectional sofa was worn and broken. The staff sent a maintenance guy out, but there was nothing he could do.
