We wanted a cabin on the river close to town and Lost Soles was perfect! We were able to walk to Bettys, our favorite place and to town to enjoy everything Helen had to offer. When I told my sister where we were staying she was excited because she had stayed there a couple times before and loved it!

I booked online thru VRbo. The process was simple and out front. Every aspect was better than expected, even the maintenance man that fixed our door knob.

The process went according to the guidebook and the office. Entry to the lobby, then room was nice and a nice safety call. The room was awesome. Wife and I had plenty of room, a nice kitchen beautiful bed. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was so peaceful and inviting.

The communication and instructions for the cabin rental were very clear and timely. There were up to date texts and links that were sent to help with information about our stay. We never needed to call or reach out to the management group but if we needed to there was a number provided.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin. The location was spot on! Right on the river and walking distance to downtown and our favorite spots. We loved the back deck for relaxing and family gathering. We loved how spacious the back deck was and the yard. The television out back was a bonus! The house was clean and inviting! The sleeping arrangements were great too with the beds being very comfortable. The driveway was very accommodating for the vehicles. We are already booking our next stay at this beautiful cabin!

The property was beautiful, our kids got to wade in the water and the property has a small private beach area as well! The home was amazing from the private beach area to the easy lake access area and my children were able to wade in the water and swim and we rented some jet ski's and a boat for the week and docked them at the boat house and everything and everyone was so accommodating. We especially enjoyed the firepit in the evenings and roasted some smores!!

Our experience with Helen cabins was great. The service was incredible, the facilities were wonderful and the cute was in the middle of town so rounded by many activies

I choose the property from the internet, rented online, and had just some welcome texts. So I did not have any direct interaction with any staff but thats a good thing! I didnt run into any issues that needed staff assistance!

The property was perfect for our needs. The location was great - not too close to anything noisy but close enough to walk to town several times a day. The deck was lovely to sit out on and watch the tubers and listen to nature.

The property offered all amenities, and the wooded views were beautiful. However, the stairs going to the basement were very steep. Other than the stairs, we enjoyed our stay in the cabin and enjoyed hanging out on the screened in porch!

Attentive and knowledgeable

Weve been coming to Helen, Georgia for five years now, and this cabin is hands down one of our favorite stays yet. Tucked just far enough into the state park to feel peaceful and secluded, yet still only minutes from town, the location couldnt be better. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated with charming mountain-themed touches that really make it feel cozy and welcoming. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into making it feel like a home away from home. We had a blast tubing with Cool River Tubing (definitely recommend going early to beat the crowds!). Afterward, we spent our evenings enjoying the private theater room, it was such a fun bonus, and gathering around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and sipping hot chocolate. A huge thank you to the owners for leaving those thoughtful touches for us to enjoy. It was such a kind and appreciated gesture. If youre looking for a relaxing mountain escape thats close to everything but still tucked away in nature, this is the place. Were already looking forward to coming back!
